Social Media Tools
DirectoryPress 5.0 now includes social media tools allowing website visitors to share your website links with their friends and other community website
Article Pages with Sub Article Category.
DirectoryPress 5.0 introduces the new articles page allowing you to run your Directory website with normal WordPress blog posts which can be added to different article categories via the admin area.
Improved CSV import tools
The new CSV import tool now supports both file uploads and already uploaded files to help improve the performance for members import big CSV files.
New Bulk Category Setup
A lot of customers wanted the ability to import bulk categories and sub categories easily via the admin area, we have added this option in version 5.0 for everyone to enjoy.
New Database Import Tools
DirectoryPress 5.x now includes database import tools for other directory software providers meaning you can easily import your entire website from other software vendors into our DirectoryPress system.
New Package Options
The new version of DirectoryPress now enables up to 8 packages (instead of 4) and includes up to 20 custom fields which can all easily be setup via the admin area interface.
ShrinkTheWeb Admin Area Integration
DirectoryPress 5.0 now includes an admin area integration for ShrinkTheWeb making integration for this service quick and easy.
Image Manager
The image manager in DirectoryPress has now been updated to include a search tool allowing you to quickly find the images you want to include on your website.
New Email Manage System
DirectoryPress 5.0 now includes a new email manage system allowing the admin to setup welcome emails and send emails to different members based on their membership package.
Customizable Search Options
You can now easily customize the search options on your directory website via the admin area.
Ordering directory listings buy prices, packages, featured listings etc is so much simpler in version 5.0.
Home Page Sub Categories
Another popular request was for the sub categories to appear on the home page also, this has now been included in the version 5.0 download and can be turned on/off in the admin area.

How do i download this version?
DirectoryPress version 5.0 is available to all DirectoryPress and VIP Collection package customers, it can be found in the VIP area for download under the “beta downloads” menu.
As this is still a beta version we still have alot more testing ahead, the stable version is due to release at the end of this month.
